Francis Masquat Experience of the Korean War:
Each solider had a unique experience and perspective about the Korean War and America's foreign policies. Francis Masquat was a medic of the 35th Infantry Regiment “Cacti”, the regiment first started out with about 300 men but slowly decreased because of the casualties taken during the war. As a medic in his regiment Francis Masquat had an interesting perspective on the war effort. His perspective was that he believed banks are the only ones that win the wars. He said that the soldiers always get hurt and the banks profit from the war because they work with the weapon manufacturers and defense contractors.
